Recent funding snapshot

Over the past 12 months, we have awarded more than $1.1 million in research grant funding.

This includes:
$87,512.18 for 10 Project Grants (Novice Researcher)
$29,767.47 for 7 Small Equipment Grants
$130,163.78 for 7 Large Equipment Grants
$931,151.93 for 13 Project Grants (Experienced Researcher)
Total grant funding awarded in 2011: $1,178,595.36

The Foundation also has multi-year research funding agreements with Baulderstone, Q Invest and Kedron Wavell Services Club to support research happening at The Prince Charles Hospital. Find out more about these partnerships.

Advances in medicine are only possible through medical research. The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation provides funding to research projects conducted at or in conjunction with The Prince Charles Hospital. The Foundation has provided more than $12 million to research projects through our annual research funding program.

Medical research is changing lives every day. Over ten years, a properly resourced research team can make dramatic discoveries and develop new treatments, new procedures, new vaccines, and new diagnosis methods that will change lives in our lifetime.
