The team at Myer Chermside have been supporting The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation through their staff giving program since 2005. Regular fundraising activities include raffles for Mothers’ Day and Easter, competitions such as guessing the number of lollies in a jar, and staff morning teas sponsored by each section. Since 2005, staff at Myer Chermside have raised $20,000 to support medical research through The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation.
Committed to healthy eating, Wagamama Chermside donates all staff tips received on Thursdays, the restaurant's busiest day, to The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation. All three Brisbane restaurants participated in a month-long awareness campaign, adding an optional $1 donation to each bill to support heart health research.
Westpac staff are keen to support The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation's events and fundraising activities. In addition to corporate support, staff participate in our annual golf day and volunteer at the Ekka.
Fernwood staff are committed to helping to raise awareness that heart disease is the biggest killer of Australian women. Staff hold fundraising events, including a 12 hour stationary bike ride, to support research into women's heart health.
